VILLA  FOSCARI

This house was built by Andrea Palladio in the 1554-57 for two brothers of an important Venetian patrician family, Nicolò and Alvise Foscari. As Palladio wrote, the walls and vaults of the house are decorated a frescos by Battista Zelotti and Bernardino India.
 
Since its historical-artistic importance, this house has been registered in 1997 on the UNESCO list of World Heritage.
